HAZMAT is an abbreviation for “hazardous materials” substances in quantities or forms that may pose a reasonable risk to health, property, or the environment. HAZMATs include such substances as toxic chemicals, fuels, nuclear waste products, and biological, chemical, and radio-logical agents.
